The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks are just 6-14 and reside at the bottom of the MAC West. The Redhawks have struggled to score and defend and haven’t won in almost a month so they have their backs against the wall. Both trends continued in a 68-51 defeat to visiting Central Michigan as a 4.5 point home dog Tuesday. This was close until the Chippewas closed the game on a 33-19 run with Miami (Ohio) limited to less then 37% shooting with a pair of trips to the line while CMU countered with 45.7% accuracy with 16 more free throws. Rod Mills led the Redhawks with 13 points and five yanks on 5-13 from the field with Geovonnie McKnight and Dion Wade combining for 18 points and seven helpers.
The over is 12-5 in Northern Illinois last 17 vs. Mid-American and Miami (Ohio) are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall while the over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings. The Huskies might be the best team in the conference so I’ll lay the chalk…
