The Line: Northern Kentucky Norse +3 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies look to avoid the season sweep at the hands of the Northern Kentucky Norse.
The Northern Kentucky Norse won’t be near the top of the Horizon League although they have been better then most expected in their first season in the conference. The Norse have won three of four following a 91-83 victory at Detroit as a 7.5 point dog on Friday night. The Norse held a slight 47%-44% shooting edge and sank 11-26 threes to outscore the Titans. Cole Murray gave the NKY attack a game high 25 points and five yanks on 9-14 with Drew Murray adding 17 points and ten rebounds. Tyler White and Jalen Billups scored 14 points apiece while LaVone Holland chipped in with seven points, nine boards and six helpers.

If you follow the Oakland Golden Grizzlies you know their calling card is scoring loads of points and giving them up as well which hasn’t changed over the years. The Golden Grizzlies outscore opponents 86-79 and have rode their offense to three straight wins capped off by an 89-63 rout of Wright State Friday as a 5.5 point favorite. The Raiders shot the ball well enough at nearly 46% but also gave the ball away 14 times while Oakland burned the nets at 54.5% which added up to eight more field goals. Sherron Dorsey-Walker led all scorers with 33 points and six assists followed by a 19 point, six pull effort from Martez Walker. Percy Gibson added 12 points and eight rebounds with the Grizzlies also owning a +16 on the backboards.
The over is 11-4 in Oakland last 15 road games and Oakland are 27-10-1 ATS in their last 38 games overall while the Golden Grizzlies are 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 road games. Northern Kentucky are 2-8 in their last 10 home games. This line looks awfully strange but I’m still biting…
