The Missouri State Bears snapped their two game losing streak and improved to 9-13 (5-5 MVC) on the season after defeating the Illinois State Redbirds, 84-81 in OT, this past Saturday. Missouri State went down early in the OT but got a huge performance by Jarred Dixson who scored the last seven points of the OT period to get the Bears a win. Missouri State was impressive on the offensive end, shooting 49.1% from the field and 52.6% (10-19) from beyond the arc. The Bears allowed the Redbirds to shoot 47.6% from the field and 41.2% (7-17) from three-point range. Leading the way for Missouri State was Dequon Miller who had 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
