The Buffalo Bulls face a tough road challenge in the Northern Illinois Huskies in MAC action.
The Buffalo Bulls have been playing as well as anybody in the MAC the past few weeks with wins in four of five after picking up a 73-68 victory at Toledo on Saturday as a five point underdog. This was a sloppy contest with a combined 35 turnovers with both hitting shots in the 40%-41% range. The Bulls hit a few more threes which was about the only difference in a tight boxscore. Blake Hamilton led four double digit scorers with 17 points and seven boards with Lamonte Bearden tossing in 16 on a combined 11-19 from the field. CJ Massinburg scored 13 points while Nikola Rakicevic added ten points and eight rebounds with nine players scoring overall.

The Northern Illinois Huskies have been one of the more impressive MAC squads thus far but they have dropped back to back contests following a 72-59 loss to Miami (Ohio) as a 5.5 point road favorite. Poor shooting did the Huskies in at 34% while the Redhawks countered with 46% accuracy including a 10-21 performance from long range. Northern Illinois saw Marshawn Wilson pour in a game high 24 points with five yanks on 8-13 followed by a 19 point effort from Aaric Armstead on 6-13. The Huskies did not shoot the ball well with five players combining to go 0-17 from the field which likely decided the outcome.
The over is 9-3-1 in Buffalo last 13 Tuesday games. Northern Illinois are 17-6-3 ATS in their last 26 home games and the over is 13-5 in their last 18 vs. Mid-American. The road team is 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings and the over is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings. The Bulls have done well in this match up so I’ll grab the points…
