The Missouri Tigers go on the road to oppose the Alabama Crimson Tide in SEC action Saturday.
The Missouri Tigers are in spoiler mode thanks to seven consecutive defeats. However they showed they can not be overlooked after a narrow 76-73 loss to visiting Mississippi on Wednesday. Wes Clark paced the Tigers offense with 20 points and five helpers and a game high six turnovers with Terrence Phillips netting 14 points on 4-7. Namon Wright added 12 points and eight rebounds while Kevin Puryear and Cullen VanLeer combined for 19 points.

The Alabama Crimson Tide might be 12-9 but they are going nowhere fast in the top heavy SEVC. The Crimson Tide had los five of six before winning two of three capped off by an 82-80, overtime upset at Mississippi State as a 5.5 point underdog. Bama hit eight more threes and six more free throws to offset six more Bulldogs baskets. Retin Obasohan led all scorers with 25 points with five yanks and eight assists with Riley Norris adding 16 points five yanks. Justin Coleman scored 15 while Arthur Edwards and Jimmie Taylor combining for 20 points.
