The St. Francis (PA) Red Flash go on the road to take the floor with the Robert Morris Colonials Thursday.
The St. Francis (PA) Red Flash might not be the best team in the NEC but they are playing like it with wins in five of six. The Red Flash are coming off of a 91-82 victory versus visiting Central Connecticut State although they almost gave away a 16 point first half lead. The Blue Devils held a 50.8%-49% shooting edge but the Red Flash prevailed with more free throws to ice it. Ben Millaud-Meunier paced the scoring spree with 27 points on eight bombs with Ronnie Drinnon adding 23 points, 20 rebounds and five helpers. Greg Brown tossed in 15 points while Basil Thompson and Malik Harmon combined for 18 points.

In past years the Robert Morris Colonials were the face of the NEC but this doesn’t seem to be one of those years although the conference playoffs are all that matters. The Colonials are looking to build on an 89-71 victory versus Bryant that put an end to a three game skid. RMU led by seven heading to the locker room and pulled away over the final 20 minutes for an easy win. The Bulldogs shot the ball at 46% but that was well short of the Colonials 55% accuracy that was a difference of seven baskets. Billy Giles poured in a game high 23 points and hauled in ten rebounds with Isaiah Still adding 22 points and five yanks. Rodney Pryor followed with 14 points and eleven boards while Matty McConnell and Kavon Stewart netted eight points each and totaled eleven assists.
St. Francis are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and the under is 7-3 in Robert Morris last 10 home games. These teams seldom get a line until the conference postseason so not many people follow them. I will take the points with the hotter team…
