Charleson couldn’t hang on for the victory against James Madison but still come into this game as one of the best defenses in the country as they rank 12th in scoring defense and 61st in steals per game. Elon has played well this season and although they’ve lost 6 of their last 8 games, they’ve been competitive against all the top teams in the CAA (Hofstra, UNC Wilmington, James Madison) and even pulled off a road win against James Madison earlier in the season. Elon was able to get a victory over Charleston on the road and as I think the Phoenix have the offensive weapons to be able to put up some points against the Cougars, I think Elon will be able to beat Charleston on their home court. Take Charleston to cover.
