The Creighton Bluejays go on the road to battle the Marquette Golden Eagles in a Big East tilt.
The Big East is a bit top heavy and the Creighton Bluejays are looking to make an impact which only comes from winning. The Bluejays need to string some wins together and have a start towards that goal with back to back wins after a surprisingly easy 70-56 rout of visiting Xavier on Tuesday night. Creighton took a ten point lead in to the locker room and the Musketeers were unable to mount a comeback. A strong Xavier offense was limited to 30% shooting with a 1-21 mark from long range killing them. That mad Creighton’s 40% accuracy with six more bombs and six more free throws a winner. Mo Watson Jr. led Creighton with a game high 32 points, seven boards and five helpers with Cole Huff adding eleven points and five pulls. Isaiah Zierden and James Milliken scored nine points apiece in a balanced attack.
