The Maryland Terrapins would like nothing better then to move up from third in the Big Ten but only four games remain in the regular season. The Terrapins had won five in a row before suffering consecutive defeats after falling at a struggling Minnesota squad 68-63 as a ten point favorite. The Golden Gophers were up eleven points at the half and a late Terps rally fell short. Minnesota hit shots at 33% and held a six point lead at the charity stripe to outdistance the 37.5% shooting Terrapins. Rasheed Sulaimon carried the Maryland offense with a game high 28 points on 8-18 with Jake Layman netting eleven points. Robert Carter and Melo Trimble combined for 18 points and 15 rebounds.
The over is 14-4 in Michigan last 18 vs. Big Ten and is 37-13-1 in their last 51 road games while going 21-8 in their last 29 overall. The under is 14-3-1 in Maryland last 18 overall and is 20-6 in their last 26 vs. Big Ten. Neither team is playing well so this could be risky. No line is out with a player or two listed as questionable…
