The #9 Michigan State Spartans have been on a roll with wins in six of seven as they try to climb higher in the national rankings. The Spartans are coming off of a 69-57 victory versus visiting Wisconsin as a 9.5 point favorite. MSU headed to the locker room with a nine point edge and the Badgers were held in check the rest of the way. Wisky was limited to 34% shooting while MSU connected at over 46% which accounted for six more field goals. Denzel Valentine led all scorers with 24 points and ten helpers with 17 points coming from Bryn Forbes. Eron Harris chipped in with ten points while four others combined for 18 points.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have quietly put together a four game wining streak and have their sights set on a 20 win season and a deep run in to the conference tourney. The Buckeyes shoot for win number five in a row after downing Nebraska 65-62 in overtime as a two point road dog. OSU hit at 39% for a few more baskets against the 27% shooting Cornhuskers that amassed 16 more looks at the basket. JaQuan Lyle led all scorers with 19 points and seven pulls with Keita Bates-Diop netted16 points. Marc Loving and Jae’Sean Tate scored 15 points each with Tate hauling in ten rebounds while Trevor Thompson did not score but hit the glass hard with ten boards.
