The Line: Austin Peay Governors -12 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks visit the Austin Peay Governors in an OVC tilt.

It clearly hasn’t been a season for the scrapbooks for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks who are laboring in the Ohio Valley basement with two games to go. The Redhawks have dropped seven straight defeats following a 71-68 defeat to visiting Eastern Illinois as a four point home dog. The Panthers held a 46%-39% shooting edge  for three more baskets which was the only difference with the Redhawks hanging tough with a few more free throws. Antonius Cleveland gave SEMO 14 points and six pulls with Joel Angus III adding 13 points and 13 rebounds. Isaiah Jones and Trey Kellum scored eleven points each with Kellum grabbing eight boards while Jamaal Calvin chipping in with eight.

Austin Peay Governors vs. SE Missouri State Redhawks - 2/27/16 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Austin Peay Governors were not a team to overlook but still struggled to string wins together and are hoping they can in the conference playoffs. The Governors had lost back to back contests before knocking off SIU-Edwardsville as a 2.5 point road favorite. The Cougars sank shots at 43% including  a 7-26 mark on threes that negated 15 more attempts while AP countered at 50% from the floor with 13 more free throws. Josh Robinson paced the Governors with a game high 22 points on 8-13 from the floor with Khalil Davis dropping 18 points on 6-9 shooting. Chris Horton added 15 points and nine rebounds  while Jared Savage and Chris Porter-Bunton combined for 20 points.

The over is 8-1-1 in Austin Peay last 10 overall and is  8-1-1 in their last 10 vs. Ohio Valley while the Governors  are 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 Saturday games. Nothing hinges on the outcome and I can see either covering if one or the other show up…
