The Wofford Terriers look to end the season with a road win versus the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
The Wofford Terriers have been a force in the SoCon the past several years but the dominance ends this year but they are still a top four squad that can beat anybody in the conference. The Terriers come off of a 53-48 defeat at Western Carolina Thursday as a 1.5 point underdog. Neither offense clicked with the Catamounts hitting at 40% with eight more free throws to edge out the 34.5% Terriers who stayed close with eight more looks at the basket. Fletcher Magee was Wofford’s only double digit scorer with a game high 22 points on 8-14 with CJ Neumann adding nine points and eleven rebounds while Justin Gordon and Spencer Collins combining for 15 points.

The East Tennessee State Buccaneers have enjoyed a better then expected season with second in the SoCon and a 20 win season after downing a solid Furman squad 80-75 as a 3.5 home favorite on Thursday. The Buccaneers appeared to be heading for an easy victory with a 19 point lead after 20 minutes before barely fending off a furious second half comeback from the Paladins. Both teams sank shots at 48% with ETSU totaling four bombs which was decisive. Ge’Lawn Guyn was the Buccaneers go to scorer with 23 points with Deuce Bello and Lester Wilson scoring 12 points apiece. Tj Croomer netted 13 points while Isaac Banks added ten points and seven rebounds in a balanced attack that featured five double digit scorers.
