The Pepperdine Waves end the regular season with a trip to the Loyola Marymount Lions.

The Pepperdine Waves will end the season in the top four of the West Coast whether they win or lose Saturday thanks to a mini hot streak that saw the team win three of four. The Waves are coming off of an 88-76 victory versus visiting Santa Clara as a 9.5 point favorite where they grew a four point lead in to a comfortable win. The Waves outshot the Lions 51%-45.6% for a few more field goals with eleven more free throws securing the win. Lamond Murray Jr. gave the Waves 25 points and six pulls with Stacy Davis adding 20 points and ten rebounds. Jett Raines logged 15 points and seven boards while Jeremy Major and Kameron Edwards combined for 20 points.

Loyola Marymount Lions vs. Pepperdine Waves - 2/27/16 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Loyola Marymount Lions have gone nowhere fast this year and their record says as much. Being in the top heavy West Coast is a difficult task however and many of the big offenses have hurt the Lions. LMU snapped a two game skid with a 100-87, overtime victory versus visiting San Francisco as a two point home dog where they squandered a 14 point lead at the half before recovering in the extra session. The Dons hit shots at 41% with LMU countering at 46% with eleven more free throws which says this game shouldn’t have gone to OT. Steven Harvey was high scorer for the Lions with 25 points and seven boards with Marin Mornar adding 19 points and five assists. Petr Herman netted 13 points and hauled in eleven rebounds followed by a 17 point, ten assist effort from Brandon Brown.

Pepperdine are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs. West Coast while the under is 13-5-1 in their last 19 Saturday games. Loyola Marymount are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 vs. West Coast and  are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall while going  17-36 ATS in their last 53 home games. This game doesn’t really mean much to Pepperdine and I wonder if they play hard for 40 minutes…
