The Fairfield Stags close out the regular season with a road trip to the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

The Fairfield Stags are one of the hottest teams in the MAAC with six consecutive victories. The Stags can finish no lower then 4th with a win and drop out of the top four with a loss. FF comes off of a 76-69 victory versus visiting Siena Wednesday as a 4.5 point home dog where they took a seven point lead at the end of 20 minutes and traded baskets the rest of the way. The Stags limited the Saints to 35% from the floor which helped negate eleven more looks at the basket and countered with 43% with a handful of free throws being decisive. Jonathan Kasibabu and Jerome Segura combined for 21 points and 12 rebounds in another big offensive output.

Saint Peter's Peacocks vs. Fairfield Stags - 2/27/16 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks  can tie for 4th in the MAAC with a win on the final day of the regular season and avoid the season sweep at the hands of Fairfield. The Peacocks ended a two game skid with a 61-40 thrashing of Manhattan on the road Tuesday as a 4.5 point underdog. The Peacocks broke open a competitive contest with a dominating 36-19 second half with the defenses holding the Jaspers to only 26% from the Floor which made their own 46% marksmanship overkill. Quadir Welton led four double digit scores with 18 points and ten rebounds with Rodney Hawkins adding 15 points and nine boards. Chazz Patterson and Trevis Wyche scored 12 and ten points respectively with a combined ten boards and ten assists.

The underdog is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Both teams are improved but Fairfield has looked great and could be looking at 20 wins if they get by the Peacocks…
