The Huskies are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win however, just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Eagles are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss.
Northern Illinois has had a solid season led by a strong defense that ranks 62nd in the country in scoring defense and 26th defensive FG%, however, has struggled on the road this season as they are just 1-7 away from home in conference play. Eastern Michigan likes to keep the tempo up during games and although they do a nice job creating turnovers, the defensive as evident in their recent game against Ball State has a tendency to be able to give up a lot of points. Northern Illinois was able to hold the Eastern Michigan defense to just 63 points in their 1st matchup of the season and although Eastern Michigan has been good at home this season, I just think this is too many points to cover. I’m taking Northern Illinois and the points.
