The George Washington Colonials have one achievable goal in the regular season and that is to win both of their remaining games and hope that’s enough to secure a top four finish. The Colonials had won three in a row before falling to visiting VCU 69-65 as a 1.5 point home dog. The Rams sank shots at 51% for five more baskets versus the 42.6% shooting Colonials but GW stayed competitive thanks to eight more free throws. Tyler Cavanaugh led all scorers with 19 points and six pulls on 7-14 with Kevin Larsen adding 15 points and seven boards. Patricio Garino scored 12 points and snagged six boards while three others contributed between 5-6 points.
The over is 12-3 in George Mason last 15 overall and the over is 19-7 in their last 26 vs. Atlantic 10 while the Patriots are 16-6 ATS in their last 22 Tuesday games. George Washington needs this game to stay in the hunt for a top four finish and a poor effort would be very disappointing…
