The North Dakota Fighting Hawks need wins in their final two games to have a shot at cracking the top four in the Big Sky. The Fighting Hawks have been holding their own with three consecutive victories after routing Sacramento State 97-71. The Hornets were down 19 at the break and were never able to make a comeback as a 5.5 point road dog on Saturday. The Hornets were held to 37.5% with UND burning the nets at over 63% which equaled 12 more field goals. Quinton Hooker poured in a game high 34 points and six pulls while Drick Bernstine adding 12 points, six pulls and six assists. Dustin Hobaugh and Corey Baldwin scored eleven points each with grabbing nine rebounds and logging five helpers.

The Montana Grizzlies and Weber State have been battling for supremacy in the Big Sky for a number of years and this season is no different. The Grizzlies have to win both of their remaining contests and were on a roll with five wins in a row before falling at Weber State 60-54 as a 3.5 point underdog. The Wildcats led by eight heading to the locker room and held serve the rest of the way. The Wildcats held a slight 38.6%-36% shooting edge but Montana totaled 17 more looks to stay competitive before the Wildcats won it at the stripe. Michael Oquine paced the attack with 21 points and eight rebounds with Martin Breunig adding 15 points and eight boards.
