The Clemson Tigers end the regular season with a trip to the Boston College Eagles Saturday.
The Clemson Tigers had the look of a team to be reckoned with a month ago but not so much since with losses in three straight and six of ten to fall to the bottom half of the ACC. The Tigers are coming off of a 64-57 loss to visiting Virginia as a four point home dog on Tuesday where they never recovered from a six point halftime deficit. Clemson held a 43.5%-40% shooting edge but the Cavaliers sank a few more threes and free throws to squeeze out the win. The Tigers saw Jaron Blossomgame pour in a game high 31 points with five yanks on 10-16 including 4-5 on threes while Landry Nnoko added eight points and six pulls. Gabe DeVoe chipped in with seven points and six assists but options were limited.

The Boston College Eagles have obviously struggled the vast majority of the season and their record says that. However even though the Eagles have been on the wrong end of a few routs they have been surprisingly competitive as well at times. BC is coming off a disappointing 73-72 defeat at North Carolina State as a 15 point road dog on Wednesday. The Eagles were up four at the break but the Wolfpack came back late. The only thing that can be said is NC State won the shooting battle 52%-48% and the Eagles 9-18 effort at the line was costly. Dennis Clifford led BC with 18 points and six pulls with Eli Carter tossing in 14. Jerome Robinson added 12 points and six pulls while AJ Turner and Garland Owens netted eleven points each and grabbed ten boards between them.
The over is 8-2 in Clemson last 10 Saturday games and the over is 6-2 in their last 8 road games while the Tigers are 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 Saturday games. The under is 16-6 in Boston College last 22 overall and the under is 8-3 in their last 11 home games while the over is 8-3 in their last 11 Saturday games. Clemson is much better and the Eagles aren’t a great choice and no way I touch them…
