The Line: IUPU Fort Wayne Mastodons -6 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The top seed IUPU-Ft. Wayne Mastodons lock horns with the #8 South Dakota Coyotes in Summit League quarterfinal action.

The South Dakota Coyotes showed some signs of moving up the conference standings the last month or so of the regular season were unable to string things together hence their 5-11 record in the conference and 14-17 record altogether. The offensive minded Coyotes averaged 77 points on nearly 47% from the floor but the defense was ranked number 324 with over 79 points given up. SD dropped six of ten to end the year with the defense faltering and if that remains the case then the offense will have to pick up the slack. Tre Burnette led the team with 13 points and nearly seven boards and could be a guy to pick up his game even more while Casey Kasperbauer averaged 12 points and could get hot from down town where he hit threes at 41.2%. With five players averaging between 7-9 points there is potential for several to step up.
