The #23 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the North Carolina State Wolfpack Saturday.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 15-15 and need a big run in the conference to possibly snag a spot in a tournament somewhere. The Wolfpack snapped a two game skid with a 73-72 victory versus visiting Boston College Wednesday as a 15 point favorite. The Eagles led by four at the break before an NC State rally nipped them at the end. Both teams shot the ball well with the Wolfpack having a 52%-48% edge with everything else about even. Anthony Barber gave NC State a game high 24 points, six pulls and six assists with Caleb Martin tossing in 13. Abdul-Malik Abu added 12 points and seven boards while Maverick Rowan tossed in another 13 points.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish look to remain in the top 25 and secure win number 20 with a win Saturday that would also end a two game skid. The Fighting Irish will be looking to bounce back from a 68-50 loss to visiting Miami as a 3.5 point favorite on Wednesday. The Hurricane wasted no time in jumping to a 13 point lead at the half and that was plenty with the Irish offense hitting at 34% including a 3-16 effort on threes while the Canes 45% was good enough for nine more baskets. Zach Auguste was the most effective player for Notre Dame with 18 points and eleven rebounds on 6-9 with Bonzie Colson netting eleven points on 4-6. Five others combined for 21 points so scoring options were limited.
The over is 9-2 in NC State last 11 overall and is 9-2 in their last 11 vs. Atlantic Coast. North Carolina State can look good and horrible without notice so the question here is do you want to take a risk on them and hope they show up?
