The 2-seed West Virginia Mountaineers used their outstanding defensive pressure to cause TCU to have all sorts of problems on the offensive end and advanced after defeating the Horned Frogs by an 86-66 margin. The Mountaineers held the Horned Frogs to 35.2% shooting from the field and 26.3% (5-19) from three-point range. The Sooners are 7-20 ATS in thier last 27 vs. Big 12 opponents and 0-4 ATS in thier last 4 games overall. The Mountaineers are 4-0 ATS in thier last 4 games following a ATS win and 5-0 ATS in thier last 5 games overall.
Oklahoma was able to defeat West Virginia in both matchups this season as the Sooners won a 70-68 battle at home and was able to get an easy 76-62 victory at West Virginia. West Virginia leads the country in steals per game and relies heavily on generating offensive off their defensive, however, as Oklahoma have great ball handlers at the guard position and a great scoring threat in Buddy Hield, I’m leaning towards taking Oklahoma if they are favored by about 3-5 points. Please check back for updates when the line is released.
Update - That was a tough ATS loss for the Sooners last night but I'm going to back Oklahoma once again as I'm surprised that they aren't favored by a few more here. Take Oklahoma to cover.
