USA TODAY Sports
The Hofstra Pride finished the regular season with a 24-9 record and first in the CAA but lost in the championship so they were unable to make the Big Dance. Hofstra averages 78.8 points per game and shoots 35% from the 3-point line. The Pride have been led by Juan’ya Green who is averaging 17.6 points per game and 7.1 assists with 4.4 rebounds. Ameen Tanksley is second on the team with 16.0 points per game and 5.2 rebounds.
The George Washington Colonials didnt make the tournament but are still a good team and should do well in the NIT tournament. The Hofstra Pride were the best team in their conference but lost in the championship game. Hofstra beat Florida State earlier in the year so they can play with big teams. I think this will be close early but i expect George Washington to pull away late.
