Purdue is 6-1-1 against the spread in their last 8 games, 3-1-1 against the spread in their last 5 home games, and 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 non-conference games. Villanova is 4-0 against the spread in their last 4 road games, 5-0 against the spread following a win, and 37-14-2 against the spread in their last 53 non-conference games.
This game is a pick’em and it looks like that to me as well as we saw Villanova drill teams last March in games that should have been pretty close. Purdue should be sky high at home playing the defending champs and look for the crowd to make a difference and it’s slight edge at very best to the home team so my pick is Purdue.
