The Thundering Herd probably didn’t win as big as many expected but they were clearly the better squad with a 47.5%-41% shooting advantage along with a nine point advantage at the charity stripe. Terrence Thompson was Marshall’s go to star with a game best 20 points and ten rebounds on 7-10 shooting with Jon Elmore netting 17 points and grabbing seven boards. I think the Thundering Herd are the better team with Morehead State losing some solid talent and playing two ‘tell me nothing’ games but Marshall’s defense has me looking at the points…
