The Line: Bowling Green Falcons -6 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Bowling Green Falcons shoot for their first college basketball win of the year when the UMKC Kangaroos visit.
After a season opening loss the UMKC Kangaroos bounced back to defeat Drake 68-62 to even their record at 1-1. The Kangaroos built an eleven point lead heading to the locker room and held off a late Drake rally. The Roos held a slight 47%-45% edge in shooting and nailed eight more threes in a rather sloppy contest that featured a combined 41 turnovers. UMKC leaned on high scorer Martez Kennedy and 22 points on 7-9 shooting with LaVell Boyd tossing in 18 while Kyle Steward netted 13 points on 5-9 accuracy. The problem the Kangaroos faced was the rest of the team contributed just 15 points and more scoring options could be needed in the future.

I don’t know where the Bowling Green Falcons fit in the MAC but they haven’t had a great start to the year following a 78-72 loss to South Dakota that has the team staring at 0-2.This was close throughout despite 36% shooting because the Falcons mustered 15 more looks at the basket while holding the Coyotes to 42% from the floor which meant a competitive contest. Rasheed Worrell paced the Bowling Green offense with 14 points and five yanks with Wesley Alcegaire adding 12 points and six pulls before fouling out in 28 minutes. Ismail Ali dropped eleven points and handed six assists with Antwon Lillard and Rodrick Caldwell combining for 17 Falcons points.
The under is 8-3 in UMKC last 11 road games. Bowling Green are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games and Bowling Green are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
Not much to go on here as Bowling Green has more offensive weapons although the few the Kangaroos possess are good…
