Instate rivals the Tennessee State Tigers meet the Middle Tennessee State blue Raiders in college basketball.
The Tennessee State Tigers are not given too much of a mention by the Ohio Valley experts but three games in and the team is 3-0 so they have to be happy. The Tigers come off of a 69-61 victory at Santa Clara as 1.5 point favorites where they led by 13 points at the half and held serve the rest of the way. TSU held a 45%-41.5% shooting edge which added up to a few more baskets and a few more free throws so this wasn’t an easy win on paper. The balanced Tigers attack received 15 points from Delano Spencer and 12 points and nine rebounds from Wayne Martin. Jordan Reed gave Tennessee State eleven points and seven boards while Tahjere McCall and Darreon Reddick netted ten points apiece.
