USA TODAY Sports
The Indiana Hoosiers are 3-0 this season starting with an overtime win over Kansas and then winning against two lesser opponents. Indiana is averaging 96.7 points per game and they are shooting 52.7 percent from the floor and 44.3 percent from beyond the 3-point arc while defensively they are allowing 75 points and their opponents are shooting 39.3 percent. James Blackmon Jr. leads the Hoosiers averaging 23 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Robert Johnson is averaging 13 points for IU, O.G. Anunoby is averaging 12.7 points and 7.3 rebounds, and Thomas Bryant is averaging 12.3 points and 6 rebounds. Indiana looks like they are going to be a force this season and be around for the NCAA Tournament.
IPFW is 9-3 against the spread in their last 12 home games, 1-4 against the spread against the Big Ten, and 44-18-3 against the spread following a win. Indiana is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 road games and 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 non-conference games.
IPFW have not held up against the better teams and while those games were on the road, this is the toughest they have faced and even with them being at home I don’t like them in this spot.
