The Oregon Ducks and Tennessee Volunteers meet Tuesday in college basketball action at the Lahaina Civic Center.
The Oregon Ducks can't afford another loss after being upset by the Georgetown Hoyas, 61-65. In the shocking loss, Oregon shot just 39 percent from the field and had 17 turnovers. Payton Pritchard was the only Oregon player to score double-digit points and the Ducks scored just 21 first half points. The good news is that Oregon did get the return of one of the top players in the country, Dillon Brooks, and he had eight points and two assists off the bench in a limited role. While Oregon is still a very talented team overall, the Ducks have now been held to 66 or less points in two of their first four games and look nothing like the offensive powerhouse most expected. Oregon has some improving to do before Pac-12 play begins. The Oregon Ducks have won six of their last eight neutral site games.

The Tennessee Volunteers hope for a bounce back performance after suffering a 62-74 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. In the loss, the Vols shot 40.3 percent from the field and allowed 40 first half points. Shembari Phillips led Tennessee with 16 points and two rebounds while Robert Hubbs III had 12 points and two rebounds. Detrick Mostella chipped in 12 points and three rebounds off the bench. The good news for Tennessee is that this is an extremely young team and it made a big comeback in the second half. The Vols may struggle against better competition due to inexperience, but Tennessee has should grit and heart early this season. The Tennessee Volunteers have lost five of their last seven neutral site games.
The Volunteers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Ducks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. The under is 6-1 in Ducks last 7 overall and the under is 12-5-2 in Volunteers last 19 overall.
This is a lot of points to lay given just how bad Oregon has struggled offensively and the fact Brooks still isn't ready to play a lot of minutes. I have to side with the Vols and the points here.
