The Wyoming Cowboys hope to stay undefeated in college basketball when they visit the Pacific Tigers.
The Wyoming Cowboys are not highly touted but here they are at 3-0 which might be a sign of things to come or just a good start. The Cowboys come off a 77-67 victory against visiting South Dakota State on Saturday where a 41-32 second half run broke open a close game. The Cowboys won the battle of marksmanship 44%-34.5% with a few more baskets and free throws winning it. The Cowboys received a game high 24 points and eight rebounds from Mike Daum on 7-10 from the floor with Chris Howell and Reed Tellinghuisen adding 12 and eleven points respectively with the latter hauling in eight rebounds.

The question for Pacific is can they crack the top four of the West Coast and it’s far too early to even think about that but that would be quite an accomplishment. The Tigers fell to 1-2 in the young season following a 72-65 loss at UC Irvine as a 3.5 point road dog on Saturday. This was an odd game with the Anteaters holding a huge 51%-31% shooting edge with eight more looks and seven more makes at the line keeping the final score reasonable. Pacific received 17 points and eight rebounds from Jack Williams with David Taylor right on his heels with 16 points while Jacob Lampkin added 14 points and six boards.
The over is 10-3 in Wyoming last 13 Tuesday games and the over is 36-16 in Wyoming last 52 overall. Pacific are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. Mountain West and the under is 6-2 in Pacific last 8 home games while the over is 10-4-1 in PAC last 15 non-conference games.
I would prefer this game was at the high altitude of Laramie but I’ll still take the points in a close one….
