The Troy Trojans will travel to War Memorial Stadium to take on the San Francisco Dons this Wednesday night in College Basketball action.

The Troy Trojans lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 2-2 on the season after being defeated by the Eastern Illinois Panthers, 71-67, this past Monday. Troy was able to make a contest late after being down for the majority of the game however, the Trojans were held scoreless over the final 1:08 of the game which allowed the Panthers to come away with the victory. Troy struggled from beyond the arc hitting just 25.0% (6-24) of their three-pointers and committed 23 turnovers in the loss. Leading the way for the Trojans was Jordon Varnado who had a double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks. On the season, Troy is averaging 80.8 ppg on 43.1% shooting from the field. The Trojans are averaging 8.8 three-pointers per game on 32.1% shooting from beyond the arc. San Francisco vs. Troy - 11/23/16 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The San Francisco Dons improved to 2-0 on the season after they defeated the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, 75-63, this past Wednesday. San Francisco was tied at 33-all at halftime however, was able to pull away from the Gauchos with a 19-6 run midway through the 2nd half to secure the victory. San Francisco shot 47.5% from the field and held UC Santa Barbara to 32.3% shooting from the field and 23.3% (7-30) shooting from beyond the arc. Leading the way for San Francisco was Ronnie Boyce who had a double-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. On the season, San Francisco is averaging 78.5 ppg on 47.5% shooting from the field. The Dons average 8.0 three-pointers per game on 30.8% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, San Francisco has been led by Ronnie Boyce (29.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.0 apg), Charles Minlend (11.5 ppg, 3.0 apg), Chase Foster (7.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg), and Nate Renfro (6.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.5 apg). Defensively, San Francisco is allowing their opponents to average 71.5 ppg on 38.1% shooting from the field.

The Trojans are 16-33-3 ATS in their last 52 games overall and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Dons are 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win however, just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games.

Troy finished last season with a 9-22 record however, returned 4 starters from last year’s squad including Jordon Varnado and Wesley Person. San Francisco let go of Head Coach Rex Walters and will have to rely heavily on Ronnie Boyce III as the Dons lost their majority of their scoring form last sesaons team. Troy’s Wesley Person has had a slow start to the season however, he is too good of shooter to be shooting 32.5% from the field and as long as Troy can slow down Ronnie Boyce III, I think the Trojans can cover with the points. Take Troy and the points.
