Oakland had to replace one of the best players in College Basketball last season in Kay Felder, however, has returned three starters and has gotten solid play from Felder’s replacement, Steve Clark, early in the season. Nevada looks poised to be one of the better Mountain West teams this season as they returned 4-starters from a 24-14 team while adding Missouri State transfer Marcus Marshall who can score with the best of them. Oakland is going to be one of the better teams in the Horizon this season however, Nevada has the depth to handle the Golden Grizzles and as I think Oakland will have trouble slowing down the Nevada offense, I’m taking the Wolfpack to cover this small spread.
