The Louisville Cardinals are 5-0 this season and they are coming off of a one-sided win over Wichita State. Donavan Mitchell and Quentin Snider each had 14 points in the win to lead the Cardinals. Deng Adel had 11 points for UL, V.J. King had 10 points, and Anas Mahmoud had 5 points and 5 rebounds. Louisville looked sharp against top tier competition and should be ready for this one.

The Baylor Bears trailed Michigan State at the half on Thursday but they turned it on in the second half to win by 15 points to land in this game. Baylor shot 46.9 percent from the floor and 31.2 percent from beyond the 3-point arc as they outscored Sparty 43-25 in the second half. Johnathan Motley led the Bears with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. had 14 points and 8 rebounds for Baylor, Al Freeman had 9 points, and Manu Lecomte had 8 points. Over the years Baylor has look disorganized and all over the place at times but they held it together on Thursday against a tough team.

Rick Pitino teams always seem to have a few statement games each season and I can see this being one of those spots as I look for Louisville to win pretty easily.
