Alabama has done forcing turnovers on the defensive end as they are averaging 7.6 spg and have a turnover margin of 4.0.
The Buccaneers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Crimson Tide are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall.
Charleston Southern finished last season with just a 9-21 record and although they have a lot of new players in the mix, the Buccaneers will be led by their solid backcourt of Armel Potter and Raemond Robinson. Alabama has one of the best players in the SEC in Dazon Ingram and although they have one of the tougher defenses in the country, the Crimson Tide can struggle finding offense outside of Ingram. Alabama struggled against a Saint Louis team that isn’t great, however, the Crimson Tide generally play well at home and as they should be able to generate some offense against the Charleston Southern defense, I’m taking Alabama to cover this large home spread.
