Vermont is going to be one of the better teams in the American East this season and although they did struggle on the road at Providence, the Catamounts have looked solid against above average teams in Wofford, Hofstra, and Houston. South Carolina has been one of the earlier surprises of the season and have been led by their defense which ranks 5th in the country in scoring defense and 4th in defensive FG%. I expect this to be a low scoring game and although a line might not be released for this game, my initial thoughts would be to take Vermont and the large amount of points that they would get.
