The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket have shown the ability to defend but need more scoring punch to compete with the big offenses in the AAC. After opening the conference schedule with a win versus North Carolina the Yellow Jackets have dropped back to back contests capped off by a 65050 defeat at the hands of visiting Louisville on Saturday as a 13 poi home dog where a nine point deficit heading to the locker room set the tone for the remainder of the game. The Cardinals were held to 34% shooting but the Jackets couldn’t take advantage at 34% marksmanship. UL mustered ten more looks and six more buckets with eight more threes winning it. Georgia Tech received a game high 24 point and nine rebound from Ben Lammers on 9-15 with Josh Okogie adding 15 points and seven boards.
Clemson are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 Thursday games. Georgia Tech are 4-13-1 ATS in their last 18 Thursday games and the under is 22-8 in Georgia Tech last 30 home games. The road team is 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings.
I’m surprised the spread is this high given the Yellow Jackets are at home…
