The #17 Gonzaga Bulldogs will also be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season, a 111-105 double overtime loss to Florida last time out. Johnathan Williams led the way with 39 points on 16 of 22 shooting with 12 rebounds and a pair of blocks for the double-double. Killian Tillie and Josh Perkins each added 17 points, with Tillie going 5 for 8 with a pair of threes, while Perkins added 3 triples, 7 boards and a team-high 7 assists. Corey Kispert chipped in 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting with 3 threes, while Silas Melson added 12 points and 5 assists to round out the scoring in double-digits for the Bulldogs in the loss. As a team, Gonzaga is scoring 94.6 points per game, the 9th-most in the country, on 50.9% shooting from the field, 38.8% from behind the arc and 72.6% from the foul line this season.

Texas is 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 neutral site games while the under is 8-1 in their last 9 games following a loss. Gonzaga is 33-16-2 ATS in their last 51 games overall and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games against the Big 12 while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 non-conference games.

The Longhorns were impressive in giving the Blue Devils all they could handle, but I’m not sure how they’ll fare against an equally dynamic offense like the one Gonzaga has. I won’t lie, I thought Gonzaga lost a step after losing so much from last year’s team, but Williams has helped carry the offensive torch for the ‘Zags. All in all, when push comes to shove, I’d probably back the Longhorns with more points. However, with the line as low as it is, I’ll lay the bucket with Gonzaga in what should be a very entertaining affair.
