In that Saturday Southern Miss game, Youngstown State’s Cameron Morse led the team with 24 points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals. Also in double-figures for the Penguins was Tyree Robinson, with 11 points, eight rebounds, one steal and one block.

Over on the South Dakota side, they’re currently 5-2 on the year. The Coyotes have beaten Mayville State, Bowling Green, Grambling, Mount Marty and Southern Miss this season, but fallen to TCU on November 15 and Northern Colorado on Saturday.

In that Northern Colorado game, Triston Simpson led the Coyotes with 18 points, three rebounds, four assists and a steal. Tyler Hagedorn was second for South Dakota with 14 points, 13 rebounds and one block.

Youngstown State is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 neutral-site games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Penguins are also 0-7 ATS in their last seven non-conference games and the over is 7-2 in their last nine Sunday games.

Meanwhile, South Dakota is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 Sunday games and 1-3-2 ATS in their last six neutral-site games. The over is 4-1 in the Coyotes’ last five versus the Horizon League and the under is 9-4 in their last 13 non-conference games.

Youngstown State hung in there pretty well against Southern Miss in that Saturday game, but did run into some shooting trouble at just 37.7 percent overall. That makes two straight games scoring 67 points or fewer for Youngstown State; they’re just not playing well right now. Despite the poor shooting performance from their starters in the UNCO game, I’m going with South Dakota for the cover here.
