The Aztecs are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games however, are just 4-10-2 ATS in their last 16 road games. The Toreros are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. Mountain West opponents.
San Diego State has put up some nice numbers to start the season, however, the Aztecs have lost both games to the best competition that have face so far in Georgia and Washington State. San Diego picked up a nice win against a good Grand Canyon team on the road and has been led by their defense which ranks T-10th in country in scoring defense. San Diego has gotten some excellent play out of Isaiah Wright and as I see this game as a defensive battle, I’m taking the home team and the points.
