On the year, Lindsey leads Northwestern with 16.1 PPG and 4.0 RPG, while Bryant McIntosh is second on 15.5 PPG and 5.8 APG. Also in double-figures for the Wildcats are Vic Law (13.4 PPG; 5.5 RPG) and Derek Pardon (10.5 PPG; 5.9 RPG).
Over on the Purdue side, they’re 7-2 on the year. Since their two losses, the Boilermakers have won three straight against Arizona, Louisville and Maryland. In that Maryland game, Isaac Haas led the Boilermakers with 21 points.
This season, Carsen Edwards leads Purdue in scoring with 17.4 PPG, and Dakota Mathias has 16.2 PPG with 4.9 APG. Also in double-digits for the Boilermakers are Haas (14.6 PPG), Vincent Edwards (13.7 PPG; 9.0 RPG) and PJ Thompson (10.0 PPG).
The Wildcats are 7-2 ATS in their last nine Sunday games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. The under is 3-0-1 in Northwestern’s last four sunday games and the over is 8-3 in their last 11 overall.
Meanwhile, the Boilermakers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 25-10-1 ATS in their last 36 games following a straight-up win. Purdue is also 17-7-3 ATS in their last 27 versus the big 10 and 38-17-2 ATS in their last 57 home games.
Northwestern bagged a big rivalry win against Illinois in their last outing, taking the game 72-68 in overtime. It was a nice turnaround from the Georgia Tech game—a 52-51 loss. As for Purdue, they’ve convincingly beaten two ranked teams in their last three wins, but it’s a bit of a concern that their bench scored exactly zero points against Maryland. This should be an interesting game, and I think Northwestern has enough scoring to stick around here. I’ll take the Wildcats.
