The #25 UCLA Bruins look to climb the college basketball rankings with a win versus the Detroit Titans on Sunday.
The Detroit Titans have been looking to establish consistency and were doing just that with three consecutive victories before dropping a 91-82 decision to the IUPU-Ft. Wayne Mastodons on Tuesday. A slight 47.6%-44.3% difference in shooting was enough to doom the Titans who also committed 18 turnovers.

Kameron Chatman carried the Detroit offense with a contest high 31 points and ten rebounds on 11-15 from the floor including five long balls while Josh McFolley scored 12 points on 3-9 shooting followed by the trio of Jaleel Hogan, Corey Allen and Jermaine Jackson Jr. gave the Titans eleven points apiece.
The #25 UCLA Bruins are off to a hot start at 6-1 but need much more to rise in the rankings. UCLA has won three straight after downing Cal. State Bakersfield 75-66 as a 14.5 point favorite on Wednesday. The Bruins held the Roadrunners to 29.9% from the floor and countered at 45.8% despite a 2-17 effort on long balls.
Aaron Holiday was the Bruins top offensive option with 16 points, seven boa0rds and six assists on 7-13 from the field with Thomas Welsh adding 13 points and ten rebounds on 4-7 shooting. The twosome of Gyorgy Goloman and Kris Wilkes combined to give UCLA another 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Over is 20-7 in Detroit last 27 Sunday games and over is 8-3 in Detroit last 11 road games. UCLA are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall and under is 8-3 in UCLA last 11 home games and under is 14-6 in UCLA last 20 overall.
Detroit is one of those squads where you don’t know what you’ll get so I’ll take the points and hope they over achieve…
