The Line: Penn State Nittany Lions -4 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Coming up on Monday from Bryce Jordan Center, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Penn State Nittany Lions will be matching up in college basketball action.

Wisconsin enters this game with a 3-6 record overall. After a win over Milwaukee on November 24, the Badgers have recorded two losses to Virginia and Ohio State. In that Buckeyes game, the Badgers’ top scorer was Brad Davison with 16 points.

On the season so far, Ethan Happ leads Wisconsin in scoring on 16.3 PPG with 8.8 RPG, and Davison has 11.5 PPG to his credit. The only other Badgers player averaging in double-digits is D’Mitrik Trice, with 10.3 PPG.

Over on the Penn State side, they’re sitting at 7-2 overall. The Nittany Lions are 2-2 in their last four games, with wins over Oral Roberts and Iowa. In that Hawkeyes game, Penn State’s top scorer was Lamar Stevens with 22 points.

The Nittany Lions’ lead scorer this season is Tony Carr, with 20.6 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 4.9 APG, while Stevens is second on 15.2 PPG and 6.7 RPG. Also in double-figures for Penn State are Mike Watkins (11.1 PPG; 7.5 RPG), Josh Reaves (11.0 PPG; 4.5 RPG) and Shep Garner (10.3 PPG).

The Badgers are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 versus the Big 10 and 1-5 ATS in their last five overall. Wisconsin is also 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four Monday games.

Meanwhile, the Nittany Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six versus the Big 10. The under is 5-0 in Penn State’s last five Monday games and 6-0 in their last six home games.

After running through a gauntlet of ranked teams who they were able to hang with for the most part, Wisconsin has looked pretty limp offensively over their last pair of games, with just 95 combined points. As for Penn State, they came out flat against NC State but to their credit they bounced back in a road win against Iowa. I like the Nittany Lions to keep it going here and cover.
