The #25 Creighton Bluejays hope to move up the college basketball rankings with a win versus the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.
The North Dakota Hawks look to get their second straight win after knocking off the subdivision Presentation College Saints. North Dakota appeared to heading for an easy win with a 14 point lead heading to the break but Presentation College hung tough over the final 20 minutes with their rally coming up short. The Hawk 54.7%-46.9% edge in marksmanship proved to be decisive with a difference of five baskets.

Conner Avants paced the offensive minded Hawks with 24 points and five yanks on 10-15 from the floor with 4-5 from the line followed Geno Crandall with 20 points, five pulls and five assists on 9-12 from the field. Tray Buchanan tossed in ten points while Dale Jones chipped in with seven points and ten rebounds.
The Creighton Bluejays had been looking good with four consecutive victories to open the 2017-18 campaign before losing two of three after a 91-74 loss versus the Gonzaga with a seven point lead at the half disappearing under the Bulldogs 54-30 scoring burst in the final 20 minutes. Creighton faced a 54.4%-48.3% shooting deficit and sank 15 fewer free throws.
Marcus Foster was the offensive leader for the Bluejays with 21 points and four assists on 8-20 from the field including five long balls with Khyri Thomas tossing in 18 points on 7-13 accuracy with another four bombs. Martin Krampelj gave Creighton 13 points and five yanks on 5-8 from the floor while Toby Hegner chipped in with ten points.
