The Line: UCLA Bruins -14 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Wednesday evening out at Pauley Pavilion, we’ve got college basketball coming our way between the Montana Grizzlies and the UCLA Bruins.

Montana is sitting at 5-3 on the season so far. The Grizzlies have won two of their last three games versus Carroll College Montana and CSU Northridge. In that CSU game, the Grizzlies were led by Ahmaad Rorie’s 27 points.

Rorie Leads the way for Montana in scoring on the year with 18.0 PPG to his credit. The only other Grizzlies player in double-digits is Michael Oguine (16.1 PPG; 5.9 RPG) but Bobby Moorehead is very close on 9.8 PPG and 4.5 RPG.

Over on the UCLA side, they’re sitting at 7-1 on the year. The Bruins have won their last four straight versus Wisconsin, UC Irvine, CSU Bakersfield and Detroit Mercy. In that last game, UCLA’s Jaylen Hands led the way on 23 points.

Tops in scoring for UCLA this year is Aaron Holiday with 16.5 PPG. Also in double-digits for the Bruins are Kris Wilkes (13.1 PPG; 6.4 RPG), Hands (12.9 PPG), Thomas Welsh (12.5 PPG; 10.9 RPG) and Prince Ali (11.6 PPG).

The Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Montana is also 1-4 ATS in their last five overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the Pac-12.

Meanwhile, UCLA is 4-0-1 ATS in their last five versus the Big Sky and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Bruins are also 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win and 1-6 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games.

Montana played a complete game against CSUN in their last outing, and it reflected on the scoreboard, which read 86-68 at game’s end. The Grizzlies have a tendency to go cold against better teams this year, however, and I’m not convinced they can keep up with UCLA in any fashion. I’ll take the Bruins for a big win and cover here.
