We’ve got a fun college basketball matchup out at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday as the Florida State Seminoles visit the Duke Blue Devils.
The Seminoles are sitting at 11-1 on the year. Since their lone loss to OK State, Florida State has beaten Charleston Southern and Southern Miss. In that Southern Miss game, Seminoles guard PJ Savoy logged 17 points.

Terance Mann is the leading scorer for Florida State so far this year, with 15.1 PPG and 6.0 RPG. Also in double-figures for the Seminoles are Phil Cofer (13.4 PPG; 5.5 RPG) and Braian Angola (11.7 PPG).
As for Duke, they’re currently 12-1 on the season. The Blue Devils’ first loss came last Saturday to Boston College, but since they’ve beaten Evansville. In that one, Duke’s Wendell Carter put up 27 points.
Marvin Bagley is the leading scorer and rebounder for Duke this year with 21.1 PPG and 10.9 RPG, and Grayson Allen is second on 17.1 PPG. Also in double-figures for the Blue Devils are Carter (13.7 PPG: 8.4 RPG), Gary Trent (13.0 PPG) and Trevon Duval (11.7 PPG).
The Seminoles are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four road game sand 7-1 ATS in the last eight following a straight-up win. Florida State is also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-6-2 ATS in the last nine Saturday games.
Meanwhile, Duke is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six versus the ACC and 13-4-1 ATS in their last 18 games overall. The Blue Devils are also 8-18-1 ATS in their last 27 games following an ATS win and 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine Saturday games.
On the whole, Florida State is taking care of business this year, and very easily could be undefeated were it not for the one-point loss to Oklahoma State. This game marks the beginning of a three-game gauntlet of ranked teams for the Seminoles, so we’ll get to see what they’re made of soon. In this one, however, I think Duke just has too many weapons available to let the Seminoles get close. I’ll take the Blue Devils.
