Coming our way from Stroh Center on Tuesday, the Miami RedHawks will be taking on the Bowling Green Falcons in college basketball activity.

Miami comes into this one with a 7-6 record overall. The RedHawks have lost their last two games versus DePaul and Ohio State. In that Buckeyes game, Miami’s Darrian Ringo logged 16 points to lead the team.

On the season, Nike Sibande is the top Miami scorer with 14.0 PPG. He’s the only one in double-figures for the RedHawks, but Logan McLane (9.6 PPG; 6.2 RPG), Jalen Adawa (9.4 PPG) and Ringo (9.2 PPG) are close.

Over on the Bowling Green side, they’re sitting at 9-4 on the year. The Falcons have won their last two games, taking out Green Bay and Lourdes in that time. In the Lourdes matchup, Bowling Green guard Rodrick Caldwell posted 15 points.

This year, Justin Turner sits on 16.8 PPG to lead the Falcons, and Dylan Frye is second on 14.8 PPG. Also in double-digits for Bowling Green are Demajeo Wiggins (12.7 PPG; 8.6 RPG) and Caldwell (12.7 PPG).

Miami is 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win. The RedHawks are also 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and the under is 5-1 in their last six versus the Mid-American.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight versus the Mid-American. Bowling Green is also 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight-up win and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.

Miami plays pretty tough against the lesser teams, but seems to wilt in the face of better competition. The RedHawks’ losses this season have all come by at least 10 points. Bowling Green isn’t necessarily an impressive team but they’ve got more than enough scoring to keep up here, so I’ll take the Falcons to cover.
