The Buffalo Bulls will look to build some steam after an 86-81 overtime win over NJIT snapped a string of back-to-back losses. Wes Clark led the team with 27 points on 8 of 11 shooting with a 9 of 10 mark from the foul line with a team-leading 6 assists and 4 steals. C.J. Massinburg came 2nd with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double, while Nick Perkins added 14 points with 6 rebounds and Jeremy Harris added 10 points with a pair of blocks to round out the scoring in double figures for the Bulls in the win. Massinburg leads the Bulls with an average of 19.5 points and 8 rebounds per game, while Davonta Jordan is the team’s top assist man with 3.7 helpers per game this season. As a team, Buffalo is scoring 81.1 points per game on 43.3% shooting from the field, 35.2% from behind the arc and 68.5% from the foul line this season.
Toledo is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 conference matchups and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Buffalo is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games following a win and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 conference matchups while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall. Toledo is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Buffalo.
Buffalo held their own against some stiff competition in Syracuse and Texas A&M and has also hung around with the likes of Cincinnati earlier in the season. However, Toledo comes into this one in much better form and have had the load of the success in Buffalo’s backyard when these two teams meet. It’s a toss-up who will win this one in my opinion, and a close one at that, so I’ll take the points with Toledo here.
