Offensively, Colorado State has been led by Prentiss Nixon (17.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.3 spg), Deion James (10.8 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.3 apg), Che Bob (9.7 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.0 spg), and Jeremiah Paige (9.1 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.1 spg). The Aztecs are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall however, are just 5-11-2 ATS in their last 18 road games. The Rams are 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 games vs. Mountain West opponents however, are just 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win.
San Diego State traded wins and losses throughout the month of December, however, showed that they are a dangerous team after upsetting Gonzaga at home. The Aztecs are led by their defense that ranks 44th in scoring defense, 43rd in defensive FG%, and 61st in turnover margin. Colorado State has won 4 of their last 5 games however, has struggled on both ends of the court as they rank just 277th in scoring offense and T-242nd in scoring defense. Although Colorado State might have some trouble scoring against the Aztecs defense, the Rams have been outstanding at home this season as they have posted a 7-0 record, and I think Colorado State does enough with the points to cover in this one.
