The Elon Phoenix will look to build on back-to-back victories, including a 90-75 win over Drexel to start conference play on a high-note in their last outing. Dainan Swoope led the tema with 21 points on 6 of 14 shooting with 4 threes and 5 assists. Tyler Seibring came 2nd with 19 points with 5 threes and 12 rebounds for the double-double. Brian Dawkins and Steven Santa Ana each had 13 points, with Dawkins going 6 of 9 from the floor with a pair of steals, while Santa Ana shot 4 of 9 with 3 threes and a team-high 6 assists. Towson is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 5-2-2 ATS in their last 9 conference matchups while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 road games. Elon is 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games following a win and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 home games. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
To be honest, Towson may have the bulk of the success in this matchup ATS, but I’m not sure why the Tigers are favored here. Elon is in much better form, and the home team has had more success in this matchup. It’s a toss-up which is why the line is as low as it is, but getting points with Elon at home sounds like a good bet to me so I’ll take the Phoenix and the points here.
