Justin Wright-Foreman almost stole the win for the Pride as he exploded for a contest high 36 points with four yanks and four assists on 11-22 from the floor including an 11-12 effort at the stripe. Eli Pemberton gave Hofstra ten points on 3-10 shooting while Kenny Wormley and Rokas Gustys tossed in nine points apiece.
The Northeastern Huskies should have some momentum on their side with wins in six of seven after opening their CAA schedule with an 81-70 victory at the James Madison Dukes as a three point road favorite on Saturday. Northeastern led early and never caved in thanks to a 49%-37.5% shooting edge that negated 15 more JMU shots.
