Thursday college basketball finds the Illinois-Chicago Flames hosting the Indiana-Purdue Jaguars.
The Illinois-Chicago Flames will be looking to change their fortunes after losing four of five including consecutive defeats to open the Horizon. Illinois-Chicago received nine points apiece from Michael Diggins and Jordan Blount on 6-14 shooting with Blount hauling in a team high eight rebounds.
The Indiana-Purdue Jaguars had kicked off their Horizon League schedule with back to back defeats before breaking in to the win column with a 67-64 victory at the Green Bay Phoenix as a 2.5 point underdog on Tuesday. Indiana-Purdue rode 41.7% shooting and 14 more looks at the basket to overcome Green Bay’s 26-10 edge at the at the stripe.
TJ Henderson led a balanced Indiana-Purdue attack with 13 points and three yanks on 5-7 from the floor with a 3-5 mark on threes. Nick Rogers gave the Jaguars eleven points, four pulls and three assists on 4-11 accuracy while Jaylen Minnett and Evan Hall combined for 19 points with Haul grabbing a game high ten rebounds.
